(May 13, 2025) – Alvogen Korea, a global healthcare company (CEO: Lee Jun-soo), celebrated Parents’ Day by hosting a meaningful talent-based volunteer activity at the Dimode Children’s Center (Director: Jeong Hye-seon) on May 12. Members of the company’s in-house flower arrangement club took the lead, creating flower baskets decorated with carnations and handwritten cards together with the children to express appreciation for their parents.
The activity represents Alvogen Korea’s unique approach to corporate social responsibility (CSR), transforming employees’ personal talents and hobbies into opportunities for community engagement. Volunteers worked hand-in-hand with the children, sharing flower materials and packaging supplies, and guiding them in arranging and decorating the baskets—creating a warm, interactive environment.
The event was filled with laughter and meaningful moments. The children showed excitement as they carefully selected flowers, wrote heartfelt messages, and prepared gifts for their parents. The finished flower baskets and cards were delivered to the children’s homes, becoming memorable expressions of love for Parents’ Day.
Jeong Hye-seon, Director of the Dimode Children’s Center, expressed her gratitude, saying, “The experience of creating something with care for others is invaluable for children’s development. It was touching to see a company engage so sincerely with the children, and this warm act of giving leaves a lasting impact on them.”
Ha Seung-hee, Assistant Manager at Alvogen Korea and organizer of the event, commented, “Spending time with the children—arranging flowers and sharing conversations—was truly heartwarming. Knowing that the baskets we created together brought joy to their families was deeply rewarding.”
Alvogen Korea will continue implementing hands-on CSR initiatives driven by voluntary employee participation, helping nurture a healthy and vibrant local community.
Since launching its CSR brand Hellow in May 2019, Alvogen Korea has carried out various programs to address community needs and promote healthy lifestyles, including ongoing support for nutritious meals for children from low-income households. In addition, the company’s oral contraceptive Mercilon contributes to women’s well-being through initiatives supporting single mothers’ self-reliance and educational programs on contraception and women’s health.
